SCD Electrolyte Drink

If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, it is helpful to add electrolytes to maintain hydration. Unfortunately, many commercial electrolyte drinks are made with illegal ingredients, making it difficult to find an SCD-legal drink on the market. However, it is easy to make your own.

SCD Electrolyte drink:

  • 1 quart boiled water
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1/4 tsp.baking soda

Can be kept in refrigerator for 24 hours and then a new batch should be made.
